ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a rotating ICU environment with 12-hour orientation
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required with every other holiday commitment
• Float within hospital when needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle 8 visits per day in a 10-bed unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Valid PA License or Compact License required at submission
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Extensive skills required including: arterial line management, ventilator management, ECMO care, CRRT, central line management, vasoactive drip titration, and emergency medication administration
• Care for patients with medical ICU diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, renal failure, respiratory failure, and substance withdrawal
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, arterial and Swan lines
• Complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Complete 15-panel drug screen within 24-48 hours of signing
• Clock in/out using badge with supervisor-signed timesheets
• Complete required non-billable modules (approximately 1 hour) prior to facility entry
