Telemetry RN Job in Ithaca, NY

Cayuga Medical Center is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position on a float basis. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week for a 91-day contract starting April 20, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,530.80.

Role Overview

You will be placed in a float position requiring the ability to work in at least 2 of the following 3 units: ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Emergency Department. Applicants who can work across all 3 units are preferred. Your float schedule will vary weekly based on facility needs, requiring flexibility and strong independent judgment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Acute Care and Medical-Surgical experience required
• Emergency Department experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in assigned units
• Proficiency with Epic technology

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• TNCC

You will be expected to manage patient care across multiple acuity levels and adapt to different unit environments. Strong communication skills and clinical judgment are essential for success in this float role.
