PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work varying 10-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekend shifts only required when covering call
• Call requirements vary with no more than 4 call shifts per 6-week schedule
• No float requirements
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (candidates without PALS will be considered)
• Work with standard PACU equipment
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
• Patient ratios are 1:1 until critical elements are met, then 2:1
• Recover a variety of surgical patients including general surgery, urology, ENT, orthopedic, colorectal, vascular, endoscopy, cath lab, and interventional radiology patients
• Experience in PACU recovery of vascular, cath lab, and endoscopy patients preferred
• Surgical scrubs provided on site
• No float requirements
