ED RN Job in Frisco, TX

You will provide direct nursing care to acutely ill and injured patients of all ages in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. Your role centers on patient assessment, triage, and comprehensive care delivery using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients, prioritizing care based on acuity level and available resources
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition throughout treatment
• Deliver basic respiratory services including pulse oximetry, supplemental oxygen administration, capnography, and nebulized treatments
• Process laboratory specimens and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
• Facilitate patient transfers and discharges
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care
• Exercise critical thinking and decisive judgment with ability to work independently
• Maintain composure during high-stress and emergency situations while adapting to workplace changes
• Participate in ongoing professional development and staff education

Requirements:

• Current RN License in the State of Texas or compact license recognized by Texas
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Duration: 84 days
• Start Date: June 17, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,628
