Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Sault Ste. Marie, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 70-week temporary position in the outpatient setting at MyMichigan Health – Sault in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. This role offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekend or on-call obligations.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5×8 days (Monday–Friday)
• Duration: 70 weeks
• Start date: July 13, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,864.74
• Facility type: Hospital outpatient department

Your Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular function using formal and informal testing measures
• Develop goal-specific treatment regimens based on assessment data and patient tolerance levels
• Submit and update written treatment plans within physician-authorized care frameworks
• Create treatment schedules coordinated with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical support staff
• Delegate tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides as appropriate
• Co-sign verbal orders received by physical therapist assistants
• Educate patients and families regarding pathology, treatment alternatives, prognosis, and intervention rationale

Required Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Physical Therapist License
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient experience required
• Skills checklist completion within one year of hire
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Must be willing to relocate; candidates must live outside a 100-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates)
