Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide technical respiratory care and deliver modalities of respiratory therapy<br>• Perform emergent and intensive respiratory care procedures<br>• Conduct diagnostic respiratory procedures<br>• Work 24-hour coverage rotational shifts including day and night shifts<br>• Work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as required<br>• Must have Associate&#39;s degree in respiratory care or equivalent education (certificate of completion)<br>• Minimum two years of respiratory care experience in general/acute hospital setting required<br>• Must maintain current valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification from American Heart Association<br>• Must hold current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any US state, Puerto Rico, or US territory<br>• Must maintain current valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification<br>• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start<br>• Orientation provided every 2 weeks<br>• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This JCAHO accredited health center serves a 4,400 square mile area and functions as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed facility was constructed in 1975 and provides comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. Approximately 49% of surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory procedures. The facility maintains a diverse medical staff including surgeons, specialists, and comprehensive nursing teams.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Tuba City, AZ</p><p>Located in Northwestern Arizona on the Colorado Plateau, Tuba City offers a unique culturally rich environment serving Native American tribes including the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute.
