Registered Nurse - Observation Unit @ Cleveland Clinic Indian River Medical Center - Nursing

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Observation Unit</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in the Clinical Decision Unit (2 East) with telemetry and progressive care responsibilities<br>• 26-week contract position (not flexible)<br>• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts<br>• Float to all 3 hospitals within 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, Tradition)<br>• 18 months telemetry/acute care experience required; 2 years preferred<br>• PCU experience and vasoactive drip experience required<br>• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)<br>• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required<br>• White scrubs required<br>• EPIC charting system<br>• Free parking in unrestricted spaces<br>• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation (2 attempts maximum)<br>• Complete 6-15 hours of non-billable modules pre-start<br>• Time sensitive modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation<br>• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application<br>• No license hits accepted<br>• Two supervisor/manager references required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This 332-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
