ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Job Details:

• Minimum 18 months of MICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Will float to all 3 hospital locations within 20 miles (Martin North, South, and Tradition)
• Block scheduling not available
• Local candidates accepted at same rate
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation
• Scrub color: White
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Required skills include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, arterial line management, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), suctioning (ETT, NT), and isolation precautions/PPE
• EKG and pharmacology test required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
• Required modules must be completed prior to start and are completed via SilkRoad
• Strict do not call in policy in effect
