Ultrasound Tech - Ultra Sono Radiol

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts Friday through Sunday
• 2,2,3 shift rotation between 2 teams with shifts available 6-6, 7-7, or 8-8
• Every other weekend requirement
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• Perform approximately 35 scans per day in a 24-hour period
• Conduct general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound studies (upper & lower venous & arterial)
• Must have OB and arterial extremity doppler experience
• Work with Siemens S2000 equipment in department with 3 ultrasound scanners
• Must be able to start IVs
• Use EMR-Community Works and PACS-Intellirad/Intelliconnect systems
• Chart using Cerner system
• Must be able to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
• Will accept first-time travelers
• 5 shifts of orientation with preceptor provided
• No floating to other areas required
• Must live within 50-mile radius and provide copy of unexpired driver's license
• Required certifications: ARDMS and/or RVT, BLS, WV License
• WV CARES required prior to start
• May wear any color scrubs as long as clean and professional
• Imaging Director and Manager available Monday-Friday daylight hours and by telephone
