Respiratory Therapist Job in Biddeford, ME

Maine Medical Center - Biddeford is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel position. You will work nights on a 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week, with no on-call requirements.

In this role, you will float throughout all areas of the hospital, providing respiratory care to patients from newborns to adults. Your responsibilities include:

• Treat patients in the ICU, ER, Nursery (Level 1), and Med/Surg floors
• Manage pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation in the ER
• Attend high-risk C-sections and serve as part of the resuscitation team in the Nursery
• Operate equipment including Drager V500 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, NéoPuff, and RAM cannula
• Document patient care using the EPIC EMR system

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current RRT certification
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• NICU experience
• PICU experience

This is a 91-day assignment beginning August 17, 2026. You will receive $2,404.62 weekly. Scrubs of any color are acceptable.
