SLP Job in Kerrville, TX

Tide Health Group – Arbor View Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 91-day contract position in Kerrville, Texas. You will work day shifts, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly; document in the clinical record
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient evaluation
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Communicate effectively with your supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
• Accurately document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system
• Record treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Attend facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Obtain necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements
• Supervise and support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or student Speech-Language Pathologists
• Adhere to ASHA and State required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• CCC certification required
• Active Texas State License required
• Active ASHA and State Licensure required
• BLS certification required
• 3 years of experience holding active CCS preferred

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay is $2,448. Assignment begins June 22, 2026 and runs for 91 days.
