Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Martinsburg, WV

WVU Berkeley Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of June 15, 2026, offering $2,747.52 weekly compensation.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work four 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 10–11 call shifts per month with weekend and holiday rotation requirements
• Weekday call coverage Monday–Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM (currently averaging 15 days per month)
• Weekend call coverage Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Experience with IABP and IVUS procedures
• Familiarity with Acist injector (training provided if needed)

Role Responsibilities

• Work as part of a 3-person team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 tech
• Handle medications and perform circulator and monitor roles
• Manage cardiac cases including peripheral procedures, cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and device implantations
• Work with ICD and pacemaker procedures (no EP or ablations)
• Case volume ranges from 2–9 cases daily, averaging 4–5 cases
• May occasionally float to Non-Invasive CV for IV starts
• Use EPIC charting system and Cupid dynamics with Xper system

Onboarding and Support

• Receive 2-shift orientation with a preceptor
• Buddy call support available for cath lab procedures
• Navy blue scrubs provided
