Emergency Room RN Job in Newton, Iowa

You'll work as a registered nurse in the emergency department at MercyOne Newton Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting June 28, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts during daytime hours.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions
• Perform patient assessments and initiate appropriate treatment protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, nurses, technicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated emergency care
• Work every other weekend schedule with no holiday rotation required
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate findings to the care team

What We Require

• Current, valid RN license
• Current emergency nursing certifications as required by state and facility
• Experience in emergency medicine is preferred

Compensation and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $2,316.60
• Shift: 3x12 Days
• Every other weekend schedule
• No holiday rotation
