Telemetry RN Job in Reno, NV

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the telemetry unit at Renown South Meadows Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,365.20.

Schedule and Hours

• 3 × 12-hour day shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• No call requirements
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• You may be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Hospital reserves the right to call off without penalty with 48 hours notice for low census

Clinical Responsibilities

You will care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure patients including those recovering from pacemaker placement, ablation, cardiac catheterization, and open heart surgery. You'll administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips such as Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro. You may float to intensive care units and medical-surgical units based on competency level, and may work at other facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Active Nevada RN license prior to start date
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience
• Must pass telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring rhythm strips. Failure results in contract termination
• Ability to provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families
