<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM<br>• Up to 4 call shifts per month (end of shift to 7:00 AM)<br>• Schedule includes 1 weekend shift per month (Saturday OR Sunday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)<br>• Float within scope between like units and sister facilities as needed<br>• 2 years of experience required<br>• Highly preferred experience in Neuro (spines/cranial), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases<br>• Handle common cases including Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (cranial, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, GU/GYN<br>• Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS<br>• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency<br>• Level 1 trauma experience required<br>• Scrub color provided by facility<br>• Use EPIC charting system<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• Parking permit available for $20 registration fee<br>• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)<br>• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• 4 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This is a Level I trauma center and academic teaching facility with Magnet designation. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurosciences, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The facility operates as a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department providing cutting-edge technology and maintains 820 staffed beds. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Charleston, SC</p><p>Charleston offers a perfect blend of historic charm and modern healthcare excellence, featuring beautiful architecture, renowned cuisine, and coastal living opportunities.
