Registered Nurse - MS/Tele @ Cone Health - The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed<br>• Patient ratio of 1:6 (one unit rotates with 1:7 equal acuity)<br>• Float required between all Cone Health campuses if needed<br>• Minimum 1 year experience required - no first time travelers<br>• Acute care rehab experience preferred<br>• Travel experience required<br>• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)<br>• 24 hours of orientation provided<br>• BLS certification required<br>• EPIC charting system experience required<br>• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences<br>• Must be flexible with scheduling<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility<br>• Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation care for patients post-stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, brain injury, and spinal cord injury<br>• Skills include interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, vital signs monitoring, dressing changes, phlebotomy, and telephone triage<br>• Daily census of 39 patients across 49 beds<br>• Access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a specialized inpatient rehabilitation department providing comprehensive care for patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
