Physical Therapist Job in Oakland, CA

HealthFlex Home Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver home health physical therapy services in Solano County, CA. This is a direct-hire position with a start date of March 27, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work 40 hours per week on a Saturday through Wednesday schedule, providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes. You will prioritize start of care visits and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as needed. This role requires you to maintain consistent communication with your supervisor, intake staff, and office personnel during normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver home health physical therapy services with emphasis on start of care visits
• Complete mandatory next-day reporting for all start of care visits
• Submit clinical notes and documentation within 48 hours of each visit
• Meet a productivity requirement of 30 points per week (approximately 40 hours)
• Use the Kinnser documentation system for all clinical records
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as required

Compensation and Logistics

Weekly pay is $3,066. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.655 per mile from your first to last patient visit. Parking and toll expenses are also reimbursed. A company car option is available if needed.

Equipment and Support

You will receive a company-issued iPad and Verizon One Talk phone. The agency will provide three days of training: one in-house orientation day and two field training days to prepare you for independent practice.

Requirements

• Valid California Physical Therapist license
• Minimum one year of home health experience

Assignment Details

Assignment duration is 91 days. Your territory covers Solano County with potential for expansion as service demand requires.
