MRI Technologist Job in Farmington, CT

UConn John Dempsey Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning December 11, 2026. This is a first-shift position working 5 days per week on an 8-hour schedule.

Shift Details

• Weekday hours: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Weekend hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Holiday and on-call shifts required as needed
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis for unit coverage and staff rotation pool
• No floating required

Compensation

Weekly pay: $3,380

Patient Care

You will work with adult patient populations across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Patient ratio is 1 personnel to 1 patient.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)(MRI) advanced certification
• BLS certification
• Active CT state license prior to start date
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI systems
• EPIC experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac MRI experience
• Functional MRI experience
• Previous travel healthcare experience
