Pharmacist Job in Independence, MO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Pharmacist for a 26-week travel assignment at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. This day shift role runs 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, five days per week, with every other weekend coverage.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work in a decentralized pharmacy model on the ground floor of the Main Campus building with one additional pharmacist during day shift
• Perform clinical dosing for vancomycin, aminoglycosides, and anticoagulants
• Conduct medication verification and pain management consults
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in sterile IV compounding using Dose Edge technology
• Monitor Pyxis systems, verify first doses, and manage emergency medication boxes
• Operate Dose Edge, Pyxis, and Pak Edge equipment
• Document activities in the Meditech EMR system

Requirements:

• Current Missouri pharmacy license required before submission
• Degree from an accredited Pharmacy School
• ACLS and BLS certification preferred
• NICU experience preferred
