*CHS Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / Medical Surgical - Nights

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Every other weekend schedule required<br>• 13-week assignment duration<br>• 2+ years of experience required<br>• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred<br>• Patient ratio typically 1:6, sometimes 1:7<br>• Required to float as needed but rarely required<br>• May occasionally float to ICU for medical surgical overflow or step-down patients<br>• Call required but rarely needed<br>• 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated<br>• Block scheduling may be accommodated as long as it&#39;s not the same days every week<br>• 1 week maximum requested time off approved<br>• Royal blue scrubs required<br>• Work with Cerner EMR and Mindray Telemetry System<br>• Care for general medical surgical patients, some post-operative orthopedic patients, and general surgery patients<br>• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers<br>• Auto offers only - no interviews required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a general medical surgical unit providing comprehensive care for a variety of patient populations including post-operative orthopedic and general surgery patients.
