SLP Job in Alliance, NE

Box Butte General Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Alliance, Nebraska. This 88-week position offers you the opportunity to deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services across inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients in speech, language, swallow, and cognition
• Plan and develop new programs related to speech-language pathology services
• Treat patients ranging from pediatric to elderly adult populations
• Complete video fluoroscopic Swallow Studies and Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple care settings

What you bring:

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Nebraska
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• BLS certification issued through American Heart Association
• Experience in rural healthcare and/or hospital settings preferred
• Ability to complete skills checklist within one year of start date
• Reliable personal transportation (rideshare services are not available in the area)
• Two professional supervisor references from work history within the past three years

Assignment details: You will work 5 days per week on a rotating shift schedule, earning $2,791 weekly. Your assignment begins September 1, 2026, in Alliance, a rural Nebraska community. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking meaningful work in diverse patient populations and settings.
