Registered Nurse - MS/Tele @ MUSC Health Orangeburg

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 patients<br>• Every other weekend required<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units<br>• 2 years of nursing experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; NIH preferred<br>• Tele competency required<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• Community hospital experience preferred<br>• Royal blue scrubs required<br>• Epic charting system<br>• 24 hours of orientation provided<br>• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, HTN, CAD, seizure, CVA, TIA, and CRD<br>• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams<br>• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This is a 286-bed acute care hospital with Level III Trauma designation. The facility features a 43-bed Med Surg Telemetry unit with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
