Registered Nurse - ICU @ MedStar Harbor Hospital

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:50 PM to 7:20 AM<br>• Float between ICU and IMC units as required<br>• Weekend coverage required as needed<br>• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients<br>• 2 years of nursing experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS<br>• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms<br>• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions<br>• Must have either compact license or Maryland license<br>• 12-hour orientation provided<br>• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment<br>• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract<br>• Two supervisor references required<br>• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract<br>• Manage patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, GI bleeds, ARDS, and post-operative cases<br>• Perform procedures including arterial line management, ventilator care, CRRT, medication titration, and blood product administration</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive ICU and IMC unit serving a diverse patient population with critical care needs.
