Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float @ Piedmont Augusta Hospital

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 in ICU, 1:4-5 in PCU, 1:5-6 in MS/MS Tele
• Primary floating to ICU units but may float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, and ICU units within hospital
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Epic charting system experience required, plus Pyxis and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Every other weekend schedule (average 6 weekends in 13-week contract)
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday requirements: work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 out of 3 if 3 fall during assignment
• No call requirements
• 24 hours of orientation
• Handle all potential MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU diagnoses
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, and trauma care
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant
