Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 schedule with every other weekend coverage required
• Maintain 1:7 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• No call responsibilities
• Floating to other units required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 35-bed unit with daily census of 35
• Work with Epic charting system
• Required certifications: AHA BLS (NIHSS preferred)
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Must live 100 miles from facility
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation including online CBLs
• Participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Skills include Med/Surg care, rapid response/code teams, peripheral line management, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Drug test must be completed 12-14 days prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
