About this role

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. This 90-day travel assignment begins June 29, 2026, and offers you the opportunity to provide specialized pre-operative and immediate post-operative nursing care in a structured, supportive environment.

Schedule & Hours

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday
  • Variable off day each week
  • Standard start time: 5:30 AM (Wednesday start time: 6:00 AM due to late OR schedule)
  • Weekly pay: $2,574

Your Role

You'll work exclusively in the pre-operative area, providing comprehensive nursing care that prepares patients for surgery. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-operative patient assessments, preparing patients for the operating room, and maintaining their safety and comfort throughout the pre-operative period. You'll collaborate closely with the surgical team—surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff—to ensure smooth transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed pre-operative assessments and document findings accurately
  • Educate patients and families about pre-operative procedures and expectations
  • Verify that all pre-operative protocols are completed
  • Monitor vital signs and patient status
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Coordinate with surgical services to maintain efficient workflow
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during all pre-operative procedures

What We're Looking For

You hold a current RN license and bring experience in perioperative nursing or a related acute care setting. You're detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
