ED RN Job in Centennial, CO

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in a busy emergency department float pool covering the Colorado Springs region. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 13, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts (3:00 PM to 3:00 AM) at $2,384.64 weekly.

Float Pool Structure

You'll float across five facilities within a 60-mile radius of Colorado Springs: Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More. There is no home base facility. Schedules are released 4–6 weeks in advance, and you can choose between two scheduling options: assignment to a single facility for the week, or Just-In-Time assignments given 1–2 hours before your shift.

Your Responsibilities

You'll manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5 based on acuity, treating 40–168 patients per day depending on location. Common diagnoses include abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension. You'll read and interpret telemetry strips and perform Point of Care lab testing after training.

Requirements and Details

• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC certifications required
• BSN not required; RN credential and valid license sufficient
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2–3 days of unit/department-specific orientation provided
• You must secure housing that allows you to float feasibly within the 60-mile zone
• Every other weekend and holiday requirements apply
• The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Charting system is EPIC
