Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Surgical Technologist position
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA
• Must be comfortable floating to General OR cases
• Call requirements: Every other weekend
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Must work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with specialized equipment including 2 Xi DaVinci Robots
• Required to scrub for cardiovascular and general surgical procedures
• Floating is 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• First time travelers accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must have extensive skills in cardiovascular procedures, general surgery, and robotic surgery
