X-Ray Technician Job in Akron, OH

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 90-day travel assignment at Akron Campus in Akron, Ohio. You will work four 10-hour shifts per day on a day schedule, earning $2,960 weekly.

About the Role

You will perform radiologic procedures including standard radiography and select CT procedures in a trauma level 1 facility. Your responsibilities include calibrating and operating radiologic equipment, properly positioning patients, applying and adjusting restraining devices as needed, and maintaining accurate patient records within hospital and radiology computer systems. You will communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff while maintaining a standard of dignity and respect for all individuals.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current registration or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Ohio state license as a Radiographer
• Successful completion of training to perform select CT and other radiology procedures
• Trauma level 1 facility experience required
• Current CPR certification with ability to initiate CPR
• Physical ability to lift and position patients safely
• Proficiency with hospital and radiology computer systems and file management
• Demonstrated competency in providing culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Assignment Details

Start date: July 5, 2026. This is a 90-day assignment with a day shift schedule (four 10-hour shifts per week). You will be working in a level 1 trauma facility, which offers the opportunity to develop skills in fast-paced, acute-care radiologic imaging.
