CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Winter Haven, FL

Winter Haven Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR) team. This is a travel nursing position offering consistent scheduling and the opportunity to work in a specialized surgical environment.

• Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with on-call rotation every other week and weekend call every other week
• Patient Care: 1:1 patient ratio across all shifts; daily census of approximately 4 cases
• Procedures: You will support coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), thoracotomy, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral clip, aortic valve replacement (AVR), pericardial window, mitral valve replacement (MVR), and pacemaker procedures on adult patients
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with previous charge nurse experience required
• Required Skills: CVOR, CABG, code response, thoracotomy/lung resection, malignant hyperthermia management, fire safety, latex allergy awareness, and familiarity with TAVR, AVR, mitral clips, pacemakers, and pericardial window procedures
• Systems: Cerner charting experience required
• Certification: ACLS required
• Licensing: Florida state license or multistate compact license required
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
• Float Assignments: May float to other departments within the hospital as needed

Position Details: 91-day contract. Weekly pay: $2,599.20. Start date: August 3, 2026.
