PCU Registered Nurse Job in Anniston, AL

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at RMC Anniston for an 8-week assignment. This is a night shift position working three 12-hour shifts per week at $1,944 weekly pay, with an every-other-weekend schedule required.

Your Role:

• Provide direct patient care with a ratio of 1:6 during nights and weekends
• Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry systems
• Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias using Rapid Response and Code team protocols
• Initiate and manage peripheral and central lines
• Administer blood products and manage cardiac drips without titration
• Start IVs and follow Heparin protocols
• Provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management
• Maintain isolation precautions and appropriate PPE use

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Alabama
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Prior experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or PCU/Stepdown settings
• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
• Charting system experience

Assignment Details:
