51101 - Travel: RN-PMC - Operating Room/Surgery - DAYS

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM<br>• Five 8-hour days per week, full-time position<br>• Primary assignment at PMC location with required float capability to Main campus OR as staffing needs require<br>• Must be willing to stay past scheduled block time to finish the day&#39;s scheduled cases<br>• Weekend requirement: No, but can volunteer to pick up call at Main campus<br>• On-call requirement: None<br>• Required certifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license, BLS and ACLS certification via AHA<br>• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred<br>• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred<br>• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process<br>• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families<br>• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects<br>• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided<br>• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and family members<br>• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers<br>• Practice independently with awareness of all relevant aspects of clinical situations</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides advanced surgical services across multiple campuses.
