OR RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

You'll work as a registered nurse in the operating room at CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center, providing perioperative nursing care across surgical cases. Your role centers on delivering routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process while supporting patients and families through their surgical experience.

Schedule and Expectations

• Day shift: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Five 8-hour days per week, full-time position
• Primary assignment at the PMC location with float capability to Main campus OR as staffing needs require
• You must be willing to stay past your scheduled block time to complete the day's scheduled cases
• No weekend requirement or on-call requirement; you may volunteer to pick up call at Main campus if interested

Your Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and family members
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• Practice independently with awareness of all relevant aspects of clinical situations

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certification via AHA
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred

This is a 91-day assignment beginning May 11, 2026. You'll earn $2,323.20 per week.
