CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required
• Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), ARRT-CT (ARRT Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Must complete accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Perform wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast medias following established procedures
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Demonstrate competence with venipuncture and power injection operation
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control tests, and ensure proper calibration
• Transport and position patients, apply shielding and immobilization devices
• Complete patient charging activities and maintain documentation
• Take call when necessary and assist other technologists as needed
• Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure while participating in team environment
• Must be detail oriented with capacity to multitask effectively
