CT Technologist Job in Augusta, GA

Wellstar MCG Health is seeking a CT Technologist for night shift work in Augusta, GA. You will work three 12-hour shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with flexibility to meet department operational needs.

About the Role

You will perform a wide variety of technical CT procedures, using independent judgment to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. Your responsibilities include:

• Verifying clinician orders and obtaining complete patient clinical history
• Administering contrast media according to established protocols
• Reviewing CT images for clinical acceptability and quality standards
• Transporting and positioning patients, applying appropriate shielding and immobilization
• Performing venipuncture and power injection operations with demonstrated competence
• Maintaining imaging equipment, conducting quality control tests, and ensuring proper calibration
• Responding to emergency situations and maintaining life support readiness
• Completing patient billing activities and maintaining accurate documentation
• Taking call when necessary and supporting other technologists as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• Current certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), ARRT-CT (ARRT Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure while collaborating effectively with team members
• Detail-oriented approach with strong multitasking capability

Compensation & Duration

This position offers $2,368 weekly pay and runs for 91 days, with a start date of April 27, 2026.
