Emergency Room RN Job in Cheboygan, MI

You'll work as a registered nurse in the 24/7 Emergency Department at McLaren Northern Michigan in Cheboygan, MI. This is a temporary travel position offering a 91-day assignment beginning July 6, 2026. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week, every other weekend, with no on-call responsibilities.

About the Role:

You'll provide emergency care to patients with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma. Your responsibilities will include immediate assessment, stabilization, and treatment of a diverse patient population in a fast-paced emergency environment. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinical staff to deliver comprehensive emergency care.

Requirements:

• Active Michigan nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Preferred Certifications:

• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Compensation:

You'll earn $2,125.44 per week. This assignment runs for 91 days with flexible scheduling that allows you time outside the hospital walls.
