Respiratory Therapist Job in Fort Pierce, FL

You will work as a Respiratory Therapist in the PICU at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, a 437-bed facility in Fort Pierce, Florida. This is a backfill position on a 3x12 night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), running for 91 days starting April 13, 2026. You will earn $1,708.20 weekly.

Your Role

You will provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema. You can expect to handle approximately 44–46 procedures per shift in this fast-paced environment. You will work with specialized equipment including Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, Hamilton, V60, Astral CPAP and BIPAP machines, ABGs, and CPT. Documentation will be completed using the Meditech EMR system.

What You'll Need

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital respiratory therapist experience
• Trauma experience preferred
• Previous Meditech experience strongly preferred
