About this role
You will work as a CT Technologist at a free-standing emergency department in Murrells Inlet, supporting a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 28, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week, Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Your Role
As the primary radiology technologist per shift, you will perform routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures for emergency department patients. You will handle approximately 10–20 CT radiology exams per shift and maintain documentation using the Meditech system. You are expected to function independently in this fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Facility & Equipment
Grand Strand Regional Medical Center operates this facility with modern diagnostic equipment including a GE 64-Slice CT scanner, GE Digital X-ray, and GE portable X-ray units. You will work in a collaborative, small-unit setting where your technical expertise directly impacts patient care.
Requirements
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification (required)
- SCQRSA Certification—South Carolina radiologic technologist state license (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- CT certification and relevant CT experience (preferred; knowledge of CT procedures is essential)
Additional Details
You will be responsible for two call shifts per month. Dress code requires charcoal grey scrubs. Your role emphasizes both technical proficiency across modalities and the ability to work independently in an emergency setting.
Compensation
This assignment offers $2,233.80 per week. You will have the opportunity to experience a dynamic emergency radiology role while maintaining schedule flexibility with weekend-focused shifts.
