TRAVEL - RN PRE OP/POST OP (786) 8:30AM- 6:00PM

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Pre Op</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 4 nine-hour shifts in Same Day Surgery unit<br>• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio with 15-bed capacity<br>• Provide pre-operative and post-operative phase 2 care<br>• Work in fast-paced environment with attention to detail for preoperative patients<br>• Required knowledge of orthopedic and general surgery procedures and preoperative medications<br>• Float only for guaranteed hours to areas of competency<br>• Use GE monitors, stretchers, and ultrasound equipment<br>• Document using Meditech Expanse system<br>• Perform advanced skills including post sedation monitoring, labs, and EKGs<br>• Assist anesthesia providers with nerve blocks and spinal procedures<br>• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS<br>• Dress code: Ceil blue or Navy blue uniform required<br>• All RN staff and OR aids available to assist as needed</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive same day surgery department that specializes in orthopedic and general surgery procedures.
