ED Registered Nurse Job in Utica, NY

You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM in a 64-bed emergency department at MVHS Inc. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning May 18, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,457.18.

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a busy ED setting, managing patients across all age groups from newborn to geriatric. You'll care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. The department includes 2 triage beds, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds. Floating to other units is required, and charge nurse capability is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Active New York nursing license with all RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• 2+ years of emergency department experience with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be current and in hand)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
