ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in the ICU with a variable day/night schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position with day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA/RQI certifications only), and NIHSS
• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months
• CPI certification required within 90 days
• New York State RN license required
• Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
• Computer literacy required; experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record systems preferred
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with professional standards, effective communication, and a focus on patient safety, dignity, and well-being
