RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends
• Maintain 6:1 patient ratio on 31-bed medical-surgical/oncology unit
• Minimum one year of acute care experience required
• Must have excellent physical assessment and documentation skills
• Experience caring for acute care stroke patients required
• Must demonstrate strong time management and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of core measures and prevention of hospital-acquired conditions required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
• Chemotherapy experience is preferred
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Float to other medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed
• Work with unit secretaries available 6 AM to 10 PM and techs available on all shifts
• Use iPhones for communication via Immobile app
• Access to computers and scanners in every patient room
• Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs with white or ceil blue jacket
• Block scheduling available
• Work within 50-mile radius requirement
