Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with schedule determined by manager
• Call requirements: 2 days per week and 2 weekends per month (half of call time is second call)
• CST certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs or business casual attire
• Coordinate preparation and disposal of specimens with delivery to laboratory according to procedures
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies
• May assist in patient transport
• Stay current with developments in surgical equipment, trends, and techniques through in-services and educational programs
• Clinic responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, processing orders, and routing phone calls
• Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites
• Experience with C-sections, OBGYN, General, Ortho, Podiatry, OMS/Dental procedures is preferred
