Wound Care RN Job in Silver Spring, MD

Holy Cross Hospital Silver Spring is seeking an RN with Wound Care Certification (WCC) for a 90-day travel assignment. You'll join a dedicated team providing specialized wound care nursing services to patients requiring advanced wound management and treatment.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care focused on wound assessment, treatment planning, and management. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess and document wound status and healing progress
• Perform specialized wound care procedures according to established protocols
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on wound care management and prevention
• Monitor for signs of infection and complications
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

Schedule and Compensation

This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional weekend shifts may be required. You'll earn $2,316.60 per week.

Requirements

You must hold a current RN license and possess Wound Care Certification (WCC). Strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
