ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend commitment required (Friday and Saturday nights)
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 in a 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit
• Float to other inpatient areas required when home unit is at low census
• Must pass EKG test prior to placement
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Must have comprehensive assessment skills and experience caring for septic and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Preferred experience with CRRT and Epic EMR
• Patient population includes sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psych disorders
• Equipment used includes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000
• EMR system: Epic
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Scrub color: Navy
• Hoodies and non-facility sweatshirts are not acceptable attire
