RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM-7:30 PM and 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• First to float to like units, Med/Surg, and potentially ICU if experienced
• May float to other medical centers (Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center) as needed
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4 on 27-bed telemetry unit (expanding to 37 beds in June)
• Must have 2 years telemetry nursing experience required
• Must have cardiac drip experience, NIH stroke assessment experience, post cath recovery and chest tube experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• BSN degree required
• Care for patients with CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post cath lab patients
• Experience with TR bands and Fem stops preferred
• Read and interpret telemetry monitors every 6 hours (transitioning from SpaceLab to Philips monitors)
• Work with common cardiac drips including set rate diltiazem and amiodarone
• System onboarding plus 2 orientation shifts provided
• Use EPIC charting system
• Professional scrubs required (any color as long as clean and well-kept)
• No call or standby requirements
• Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
