<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>OT - OT</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour day shifts with every other weekend requirement<br>• Schedule varies depending on facility needs (may work Wed-Sun or Thur-Mon)<br>• Start times vary based on assignment<br>• First to float to other areas as needed<br>• Cover assigned area and potentially float to additional units<br>• Treat up to 9 patients per day in outpatient setting, up to 13 patients per day in inpatient setting<br>• May work in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings as specified by facility<br>• Must have passed NBCOT exam for certification<br>• BLS certification required<br>• One year of experience or more required<br>• Travel experience preferred<br>• Trauma experience preferred<br>• Must wear maroon polo shirt and dark colored pants with closed-toe shoes<br>• Lab coat is optional<br>• Use Cerner Powerchart EMR system<br>• Work with rehabilitation aides, OTAs, and PTAs for assistance<br>• Treat patients with orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, and trauma conditions<br>• 1.5 days of department-specific orientation including unit training and Cerner training if needed<br>• Holidays are not required<br>• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center operates as a Level 2 trauma facility providing comprehensive inpatient acute care services. The facility features a full rehabilitation department with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services across outpatient, inpatient, and specialized rehabilitation units.
