Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Weekend commitment of 6 shifts per 4-week schedule (weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts)
• Handle 20-25 respiratory treatments per day
• Work in NICU and/or PICU settings treating pediatric and neonatal patients
• Perform all aspects of respiratory care including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, and NAVA
• Operate Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics and Hamilton BiPAP, and Fisher Paykel HFNC equipment
• Perform airway management and intrahospital transport
• Assist with intubation (not required to intubate independently)
• Staff alongside a team of approximately 8 RTs per shift
• Preference scheduling permitted within commitment requirements
• No floating requirements
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Stone/Light Gray
• RRT preferred; minimum 2 or more years of experience in PICU and/or Level 4 or greater NICU required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (AHA)
• BSN not required
