CVICU RN Job in Plano, TX

You'll work as an RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Medical City Plano, providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions. This is a travel position offering 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, on nights (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), for a 91-day assignment starting January 26, 2026. Two positions are available.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver critical care nursing to cardiovascular patients requiring intensive monitoring
• Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac conditions, responding to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and comprehensive patient records
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated patient care
• Apply strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills to guide patient care decisions

You'll need a current RN license and the ability to work in a fast-paced intensive care environment. Your expertise in cardiovascular nursing and experience managing critically ill patients will be essential to this role.
