Physical Therapist Job in Mount Ayr, IA

Ringgold County Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment in Mount Ayr, Iowa. You will work a 5x8 day shift at $2,664 per week, with a start date of May 25, 2026.

Role Overview

Your caseload will be primarily outpatient with some inpatient coverage. You must have demonstrated experience in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings.

Requirements Before or Upon Start

• Active BLS certification issued through American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current professional license or certification verification within 30 days of submission
• Annual physical examination signed by MD, DO, DC, NP, or PA
• Iowa Adult & Child Mandatory Reporter Certificates completed before start date
• 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start date
• Background check and OIG verification within 30 days of start date
• Immunization requirements: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, and TB testing

Ongoing Compliance

• Complete Joint Commission Core I, II, and III training within one year of start date with 80% passing score
• Complete annual competency exam for specialty with 80% passing score
• Complete skills checklist within one year of submittal
• Enter time in Triage Plus system no later than noon CST every Monday

This position requires full compliance with all credentialing, licensing, and training standards set by the facility and applicable state regulations.
