Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts with rotating call responsibilities
• Call response time required within 30 minutes
• Rotating holiday coverage handled through call schedule
• On-call schedule varies by service line: General OR first and second call crews begin at 7:15 PM to 10:45 PM, midnight call crew runs from 10:45 PM to 6:45 AM; heart, vascular, and ortho call continues until next morning when cases are complete
• Work across 13 operating rooms and 2 minor procedure rooms
• Average of 60-70 cases per day across all service lines, fewer for cardiovascular
• Common case types include general, OB/GYN, neuro, vascular, endovascular, orthopedics, plastics, interventional pain, ENT, eyes, and Da Vinci robotic procedures
• Scrubbing required
• Float between service lines based on comfort level: heart team comfortable to endo or vascular; vascular/endo team may float to general, urology, GYN, and ortho if comfortable in general OR
• Orientation typically consists of 2 shifts in the OR with the option for additional orientation as needed; paired with a team member for first few call shifts
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Charting performed using EPIC EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA); ACLS preferred; CST preferred for travel positions
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius; copy of unexpired driver's license required at time of submission
• Background hits must be disclosed at time of submission
