Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:6-1:7
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to like units with similar patients as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina nursing license or Compact license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date
• Attendance at staff meetings required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Skills include central line care, CVA management, telemetry monitoring, IV management, and isolation precautions
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• After 2 call outs per contract without medical reason, contract may be cancelled
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
